The Forest of Ferrês...A Creation in the Making!

Greetings riders. Have you heard of the forbidden Forest of Ferrês? If you haven’t then let me give you a little breakdown on how this kingdom that many don’t realize exists works. This forest is where magical creatures from all around Tarzinëa originate. Some creatures left the safety of the forest and went on into the realms of man. But many that have never been seen remain locked away inside the forest itself. 

How did this magical forest get created? Nütari the Goddess of Beasts, created the forest as a haven for the creatures that she created throughout the time of man’s creation. She is the matriarch of the land and created the twin-tailed foxes that ruled over the forest for a time. But things changed when Goddess Serena infiltrated the forest to see what Nütari created and why she guarded it so fiercely. 

Serena realized the power that existed within the forest so she tried to take some of it for herself. In the short story “A Powerful Rivalry,” you can read about the breakdown of how Serena creates the kyres (wolf shifter beings) that take over the forest and give Serena the matriarch title instead of Nütari. This created a power rivalry between not only the goddesses but the twin-tailed foxes and the kyres too. 

Now the forest has always been a mystery to the world. Many have tried to enter but have never been seen again or couldn’t even find the forest. Due to it comprising magic the forest has a mind of its own. It can move locations and suck you in within its depths within a moment’s notice. Throughout my Tales of Ferrês short story series you can see how ten heroes each throughout different periods of time have been sucked within. They made it out alive, but not the same. Change happened to each hero and things were never the same for them after being within the forest’s depths.
