The History within the Forest of Ferrês...

 Hello riders. Today I am going to feature a post about the history within the Forest of Ferrês. This is the magical forest kingdom that makes up my Tales of Ferrês short story series. Each story is featured with a different hero and faces a different side of the forest as a whole. Some find their way to magical creatures within the barriers or sparkly jewels that make them face a dark foe. Either way the forest has been around since the dawn of time within the world of Tarzinëa. And today I am going to share a little bit about how it came to exist.

The Forest of Ferrês was created by the Goddess Nuitari. She is a neutral goddess that tends to cause a lot of mischief in the world. Her power is in magical beasts since she is the goddess of beasts. Back before the forest was created the beasts roamed the world without a true place to call home. They fought against the humans another creatures of the world and didn't no what to do. They called out to their deity, Nuitari and she answer there prayers.

She created the Forest within the world itself to be something far more powerful than just trees that would protect and hide the creatures within. Her main goal was to create a forest that wouldn't hold her creatures hostage or reveal them to the outer worlds. That is why she enchanted the forest to be somewhat of a voyager itself. The trees that made up the forest would move around the world creating an environment that would shift with time and melt to the needs to those that are within its grasp. These does create issues for the outsiders because like in my stories they don't want to enter the forest of beasts and magic. They want to stay as far away as possible. But the forest has a mind of its own and goes where it wants even if it is in the path of our heroes. Some say the Goddess can manipulate the forest or ones close to her to do her bidding. But many don't believe that unless you see how things have changed since Serena took over the forest later on in the history of the gods.

Serena created a kyre (wolf shifter) that roamed the inner kingdom of the forest and took control from the twin-tailed foxes that Nuitari favored. Now Serena is the patriarch goddess of the forest and Nuitari has be dethroned. She holds a grudge and still holds power over the forest but is sitting by waiting for her chance to strike. Nuitari's daughter Salza, the goddess of elves, also plays a had in the forest. She likes to bring heroes within to help them face their inner fears.
