Falling in love with a cardboard cutout never felt so real.

Judy Darlang has one summer to save her family's beloved Art Deco movie theater before it's demolished to make way for a big-box store. With her mother's health failing and The Emerald's future hanging by a thread, she'll do whatever it takes to save the place that's always felt like home.

Then she wins a life-size cardboard cutout of missing Hollywood heartthrob Weston Wilder and gets the shock of a lifetime when he turns out to be far more than cardboard.

Suddenly, Judy and Weston are swept into a magical mystery neither of them can explain. Bound by a curse tying Weston to the theater, they'll have to save The Emerald, uncover the truth, and outrun a growing media frenzy before time runs out.

They may both be used to the movie magic of scripted romance, but as they get closer to breaking the curse, the feelings growing between them are anything but scripted.
