A weapon has no will of its own—until the day it refuses to obey.
In the blood‑stained arenas of Chinderia, gladiators are bred and conditioned to kill. None is deadlier than the Lion of Zarall, a purebred beast whose very name is a weapon. He is the prized champion of a tyrant, the jewel of a decadent court—until a night of betrayal and sorcery turns him into the king’s greatest enemy.
Gravely injured, haunted by scars that run deeper than flesh, and cursed by a magic he cannot comprehend, Lion hides on a remote farm at the edge of the kingdom.
But freedom is a promise he cannot fail.
To win it, he must return to the arena and survive the Twilight of Infinity—a brutal tournament held within a twisted city. The chains that bind him also restrain an ancient evil beneath his skin. And if Lion wins, he will not be the only one to break free.
