It's February. Hard to believe we are two months into this year so far. I have been working on getting things fixed on my end to work everything together better. The first thing I decided to change since I wasn't getting much traction with The Dungeon Crawlers Blog was to change the name to K.M. Jenkins' Book Nook.
The reason for the change: need to get where my blog shows up when people search for my author name K.M. Jenkins. Two I think the name already is owned by a card shop anyway so I decided to change it to this to help it be more unique.
As for things I plan to feature on this blog: One - I plan to still feature blog tours for authors all over the world through Silver Dagger Book Tours & DS Book Promotions when it comes to the weekends. Usually will try to post only on Friday, but sometimes DS Book Promotions has shares on Saturday or Sunday without notice. Second - I plan to get back into writing about my journey as an author, personal assistant, and marketer slash business owner. Third - is to write about my series I am working on right now and hope to get a following so everyone can access my book world and its content without issue.
One of my big projects this year is to do my first Kickstarter Campaign this August 2026 for my book Tales of Ferrês. I am doing a special anniversary edition in eBook, Paperback, and Hardcover with a slip cover. Then I am going to roll out some of my mystery swag bags that I plan to offer through my store year around. The plan is to offer videos to let the buyer know what they are receiving but it will be random balls that open with the prizes listed inside. I got addicted to watching these kind of videos on Instagram so I want to give it a go but with Fantasy Dragon Themed merchandise as my go to for swag items.
I plan to break down my process with Kickstarter here on my blog as I work through getting things set-up. Then I plan to use this blog to share content with both viewers and supporters too. In a way I plan to do a lot of things this coming year with this blog and if you don't want to miss out on it then you should click the follow button on the right side bar...you might have to scroll down a bit to find it. This way you get notifications when knew things happen.
I hope everyone has a wonderful February and a Happy Valentine's Day. Looking forward to my next message which will be later this week. Good news. I finally got my covers for Tales of Ferrês formatted. Now I just have to format the interior pages next.
