Hi everyone. It is time for my bi-weekly update with things that are going on in my personal life, writing life, and most important in my Kickstarter Campaign's life. This last weekend my mom figured out that she can drive now without restrictions on her from her knee surgery so yip yip yippee, I don't have to drive her around anymore.
Ben has been discharged from Speech and is soon to be discharged from PT and OT. Those two only have two more sessions for the month then he should be done. This last week has been crazy busy with doing client works, doctor appointments, and writing stuff. I did find time to sit down and read throughout all the busy days. Spent to much time in doctor's offices so I read during that time too. But I am learning from these books since most of them are on building your craft as an author and expanding the author business.
A few weeks back I got a special delivery with four lovely stickers that represent the dragons within my Tales of Ferrês series and they arrived in the mail. I plan to offer them in one of my tiers during the campaign and I have only 100 of each. If you want to check them out you will have to head over to my PreLaunch Page on Kickstarter and click the NOTIFY ME ON LAUNCH button. This will allow you to receive follower updates in the backer report up and after the campaign. I feature the four stickers this Monday and the next reveal of the artwork from "A Father's Protection," short story that Grady Earl created. Now the artwork is only going to be in the hardcover and deluxe hardcover editions. If that is what your dying to get your hands on you will have to make sure to watch for those tiers when I start doing tier reveals as the date of launch grows closer.
There is good news though. It has been two weeks and I am officially up to 28 followers on my campaign page on Kickstarter. I decided to give my followers and you special blog readers a challenge. Help share my campaign around on social media or with your family and friends. Then when the time comes that I reach 35 followers I will release a new short story or a flash fiction piece that hasn't been seen outside the anthology it is featured in. It is part of this world so it will fit in perfectly. I do have a poll where you can vote in the follower report on Kickstarter. I'm in the process of working on edits for The SwordMaster Brothers. I need a little insights to it so I have enlisted some beta readers to help with fixing the story before I send it in for another edit with Allison. Then I am looking to publish it this Fall or maybe at the beginning of the year. The next part of the process is getting a cover made for the story.
