What is Coming...
I have been reading books on how to reach readers and build my writing career. One of the things I noticed is that some authors build their business with a blog. This is why I plan to keep this blog going. The plan is to have Fridays-Sundays dedicated to sharing book tours and Kickstarter campaigns for the time being. On Mondays I plan to do a writing update or my upcoming Kickstarter Campaign update. Then I think on a bi-weekly schedule I plan to write a short story to feature on Wednesdays. Now there will be times that a story is taking me longer to write so there will be longer time between each release.
The hopes is to build my story portfolio and one day add them to my published works. I want to keep things going on this blog and build it up where I have a place for readers to come to enjoy things I am writing. Now the hard thing I am trying to do right now is deciding which story I should release on the blog first. The choices are between two different stories. One is a YA Fantasy Adventure featuring a baby dragon named Mazu from my world of Tarzinëa. The second story is a horror short story featuring a cursed mountain and a witch that haunts those that enter. I'll share a description of both of them below and if you would kindle vote on the one you want to see first the would be awesome. Thank you :)
Story Choices:
#1: Mazu's Hatchling Adventure -
Mazu hatches from his egg without his mother knowing. He slips away and takes an adventure to where he makes a new friend in the village next to his mountain peak. His mom goes nuts and reacts in an unfriendly way. It does end with a happy ending so no worries there no baby dragons will be hurt in the writing of this story.
#2: Autumn's Peak -
Welcome to Autumn's Peak where darkness reigns. Long ago a witch inhabited the mountain land as she did her dark magic to protect the animals and keep everyone else out. But she was slain by the outside world and cursed the land to never be stepped on by anyone other than those of her kin. Now a camping trip has gone array and things are not going to go well for the two that enter. But you will have to read to find out.
