Greeting’s o’ sweet travelers. I am back with an update on my Kickstarter for you all. It has been a few weeks since I last checked in. Things have taken root as I have achieved 55 followers over on my Tales of Ferrês Prelaunch Page.
A new thing I have been doing is setting goals for followers to help share the campaign to get stuff only followers can get. The first thing I offered was the first part of Filthas Dengotta’s story that I plan to release here on the blog later this year. As of right now I will release part two to my followers when I hit 70 followers in total. I am including a reveal for one of the character cards I plan to offer for rewards.
This hasn’t been shared with anyone yet so I thought it would be something fun to get people more involved with the campaign. My update so far is on how I got the normal editions for paperback and hardcover finished. They are ready to hit the stores but I won’t publish them until after the campaign. These books won’t have foil covers, sprayed edges, or any character art. They will be basic formatted editions.
As for the foiled cover and sprayed edges paperback edition, I have ordered proof copies. I should receive them in the next week. Super excited to see how they turned out. But I am still working on the hardcover edition since I have to create the foiled cover for the case-bound cover itself. Then I have to see if the sprayed edges from the paperback will work on the hardcover edition too. Not sure because I am not sure if they are the same size. I forgot what size I put the paperback edition too. But, o’ well.
